Safety is the Number One Priority at Gulf Operators. Management is dedicated to the establishment of a safe, secure working environment and to this end, is committed to conscientiously supporting an effective safety program. Our goal is an accident free operation, promoting the reduction and elimination of personal injury and property damage.
Some of our key programs that promote safety are:
- -Safety training, in-house and through the New Brunswick Construction Safety Association (NBCSA)
-Development of a formal on the-job training program
-Job safety analysis and studies
-Daily morning tail gate talks and weekly toolbox meetings
-Formal site inspections by supervision and workers
-Trenching & Excavation course which has also been presented as training for our clients.
-Formal incident / accident reporting, analysis & review
-Drug and Alcohol Policy
-Modified duties / return to work program

-Incentive programs
At Gulf Operators we have successfully completed a WHSCC SAFIS external audit and with this we continue to grow. We are also in the process of obtaining a Letter of Recognition through the NBCSA.
