Saint John Regional Hospital Emergency Expansion
The Challenge
Complete site excavation for the expansion of the emergency department. Also, provide two new parking lots for 504 additional parking spaces, a new access road to the heli-pad and a new bus stop at the south entrance.
Our Solution
Gulf Operators successfully cleared and grubbed the 4.7 hectare site, removing 30,000 cubic metres of rock. We also provided 17,000 cubic metres of common fill material as part of the ground preparation prior to laying the asphalt. The work was executed between June 2008 and December 2008.
