The Challenge
Fulfill role of civil contractor for all the site preparation associated with construction of the new Canaport LNG liquefied natural gas receiving and re-gasification terminal in Saint John, NB.
Our Solution
Gulf Operators successfully completed the project between June 2006 and December 2008. In addition to managing the project as civil contractor, we crushed 500,000 tonnes of rock on site, built the concrete infrastructure under the natural gas tanks and installed seven kilometers of underground services. The job employed 120 workers and required 400,000 hours of labour.
