Kent Hills Wind Farm for TransAlta
Gulf Operators was proud to be selected to provide access road construction and underground services to the first New Brunswick Wind Farm in Kent Hills. The job also involved building the crane pads and equipment lay-down areas required during construction of the wind towers.
Gulf Operators successfully built the 32-kilometre access road to the Wind Farm site, together with electrical trenching and backfill. We also successfully built the pads and equipment lay-down areas for 25 construction cranes. The project ran from October 2007 to May 2008 and comprised at total of 15,000 worker hours.
